Learners
The scope of this document is specific to the design of the project “Hey, You Okay” using Augmented Reality, particularly for the students of age 15- 35 of St. Cloud State University. Students who have a smartphone and overall understanding of navigation buttons on a screen such as next, back, will be able to use the tool to understand the campaign and take part in it to help their community and friends. “Hey, You Okay” project’s ultimate object is to educate the students to communicate with their friends, classmates, and colleagues when they need assistance.
Authoring Tool
This project will be created using Metaverse. Given the scope of the project, this tool is appropriate for the learners. It is a web-based AR authoring tool. It provides flexibility of adding multiple objects, text and create a storyline. The overall progression can be linear or have multiple pathways. It is convenient to link the information with the external web links if one needs to provide detailed information. Once the project is authored, it can be implemented through a QR code. This QR code can easily be scanned through mobile phone cameras. When the learners scan the QR code, they will be able to access the learning content.
